This a rare vintage item from the 1940-1950's era. The "Winged Wheel Lantern" or otherwise called the Skater's Lantern”, as children would take them with them to light up the night when skating on frozen ponds. The lantern is still useable today with kerosene and also makes a lovely centerpiece for farmhouse, a rustic cottage or summer cabin.
